What are scholarships? Scholarships are one of the four (the big four: grants, work-study, loans, and scholarships) different ways that Eagles can pay for college or career school. A scholarship is a free money that does not have to be repaid.

What are the requirements? Do not assume that you need to have a high-grade point Average (GPA). Many people are impressed with a student's real GPA, GRIT, POTENTIAL, and AMBITION. Requirements vary. If you spend enough time, you will find opportunities that are open for you.

Where can students find scholarships? Many nonprofit and private organizations offer scholarships to help students pay for college or career school. Scholarships can sometimes be based on academic merit, talent, or a particular area of study, and can make a real difference in helping you manage your education expenses.

All seniors have been invited to join a Scholarship Google Classroom where scholarship opportunities are posted and updated on a regular basis. It is a student’s responsibility to check, we recommend they make it a practice to check the Google Classroom at least once a week.
